2000 REP SOCCER TEAM OFFICIAL WEBSITE!
2012 Tryout Information
Summer 2012 is almost here…
We are excited to announce open tryouts for our CSL L3 team
(Central Soccer League, Level 3) starting February 6, 2012.
Interested candidates will be evaluated in small groups, depending on available space and the team’s preparations.
We are looking to add 2 - 4 players not only interested in playing in a highly competitive environment, but who also can meet the high expectations of our program’s required standards; which includes total commitment, a high level of physical and mental discipline, unconditional support of both the team and coaching philosophy, as well as, respect for the game of soccer itself.
Our outdoor training program will include 4 weekly practices at our North York (Bathurst & Finch) facilities (the number of practices may vary depending on our game schedule).
Furthermore, our program is designed to offer individual training sessions along with group video analysis sessions.
In addition to CSL L3 league games, Spartacus 2000 will participate in the CSL and Ontario Cups along with 5-6 tournaments (including the 2012 Nike Challenge Cup in Ohio, USA in April and one additional US tournament).
Spartacus Soccer Club has traditionally been the best soccer program in the North York district. In previous years, approximately 90% of its players have not only been invited to the District program, but have gone on to represent the North York District in inter-district competitions. This year, our Spartacus 2000 coaching staff may be joining the North York District coaches to assist in selection and training sessions.
As part of our philosophy, our players are encouraged and coached to play in numerous positions, and therefore we suggest any and all interested players contact out Head Coach to arrange a tryout.

The Spartacus Soccer Club’s objective is geared towards attaining, and then further developing players who are deemed to have the potential to reach a professional level.
We believe in setting high standards, and implementing a programme focussed on the development of our young players in a safe, happy and caring environment. A solid work ethic and high expectations are core foundations of are programme, as we aspire to produce happy, confident, successful and talented players.
We believe in a holistic approach to player development, therefore giving the player the best learning environment to improve socially, psychologically, technically and tactically as a gifted young individual; one who is then fully capable to pursue the ultimate goal, which is reaching their full potential both on and off the field.
